If you can combine your passion for two-wheelers (and personal watercraft plus other industry leading products!) with a demonstrable ability to take ownership of multiple tasks across the broad landscape of PR and Event Organisation, we should talk.

Kawasaki Motors Europe has a vacancy for a European PR Officer covering all operational PR matters with the goal of maintaining and enhancing the image of this iconic Japanese brand among a variety of audiences from media (specialists and mainstream), dealers and customers to a wide variety of other 'touch points' along the way.

You’ll be an expert at building relationships, able to negotiate and guide demanding, time specific high-level event projects - such as International Press Launches - from brief to delivery while at the same time respecting budgets and ensuring the smallest aspect is covered thanks to your obsession with the devil that is in the detail.

As a PR professional you will be well versed in creating impactful and communicative copy (from brief to on-time delivery), as well as understanding the intricacies of the distribution process in terms of digital back-office skills coupled with an intimacy with reporting tools.

In this challenging role, you will:

• Have an important role in the creation and execution of the yearly PR plan in line with the company business objectives and budget.
• Organise European Press Introduction events (new product launches) including agency briefing and project management/reporting.
• Manage new product information and present the assigned new products and projects at pan-European marketing meetings.
• Share the press release creation process with the European PR Manager.
• Organise pan-European PR activities to support carry-over models retail objectives.
• Organise yearly Marketing/PR Meetings and events including any third-party supplier involvement.
• Manage and monitor the assigned suppliers’ performance and provide input regarding supplier selection.
• Survey press, customer and market trends as well as competitors’ PR trends and strategies. As a ‘Product Champion’ you will act as a point of reference within the KME organisation.
• Support the European PR Manager with Racing PR administration and activities and maintain a close communication lines with the Kawasaki PR community across Europe.

To be succesfull in this role, you:

• Have an unquenchable passion for motorcycles and a deep interest in other Kawasaki products;
• Have several years of relevant PR and/or Marketing experience within the motorcycle industry;
• Are an active, experienced and enthusiastic motorcycle rider and have a good knowledge of the motorcycle industry;
• Can be described as open minded, proactive and resilient;
• Have excellent communication, project management and organisational skills.
• Are able to act as ambassador for Kawasaki, to represent the company and to build trust and buy-in with multi-cultural and multi-level stakeholders;
• Have a service-minded and customer-centred attitude and you are accurate and a self-starter;
• Above all: You have the desire to deliver and the drive to succeed!
