As of October 1st 2018, MME is re-establishing the European vehicle sales & marketing activities, from the office in Amstelveen in the Amsterdam area. In this international and challenging role it will be your responsibility to explore profit opportunities by analysing price developments in European markets and to reduce cross border selling by providing clear information about price differences between markets (price harmonization).

In this job you will:

Provide up to date market data on vehicle pricing and analysis, in order to set optimal price level in each market and to maximize vehicle sales profit:
• Generate date files on; vehicle costs, transfer prices, sales price level, vehicle profitability and duty expenses;
• Provide up to date pricing information with focus on inter-country pricing levels in order to advice and support vehicle sales in price setting per country;
• Support vehicle/model repositioning process;
• Provide price history information in order to identify profit opportunities;
• Provide price inflation data per product and market;
• Review and analyse general market tendencies;
• Provide tax and regulation changes per market on regular basis.
Be responsible for competitive price-setting per market:
• Calculate and evaluate price level for new products for each European market;
• Provide data to negotiate transfer price.
Be responsible for accurate and correct reporting:
• Provide timely and correct reporting to MME management, MMC and the Regional General Manager Vehicle Sales;
• Report about sale/margin performance of the various markets;
• Report about profit fluctuations due cost changes.

To be successful in this role, we believe you have:

• A Bachelor or Master degree Business Administration;
• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in (B2B) vehicle sales (on a Pan European level within automotive industry);
• Good and up to date knowledge of the (European) automotive market;
• Excellent knowledge on Excel and PowerPoint;
• Excellent reporting skills;
• Proficient level of business English, other languages are beneficial;
• Multicultural mind- and skill set;
• The desire to deliver & succeed.
